Delegation of Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital visited and worked at Myongji Medical Foundation , South Korea

The delegation from Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital, led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Trung – Vice Director of the Hospital, has just concluded a visit and working session at Myongji Medical Foundation, South Korea. This organization is recognized as one of the modern medical facilities with synchronized equipments and the implementation of advanced techniques such as organ transplantation and vascular intervention.

At the meeting, representatives from both hospitals met to introduce the working delegation and to provide informations about the history, development process, and organizational scale of Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital and Myongji Medical Foundation.

Within the scope of the working trip, the delegation directly visited several units, such as the Sports Medicine Center, Applied Research Center, Sleep Medicine Research Center, Adult Rehabilitation Department, Pediatric Rehabilitation Department, Interventional Radiology Department, Maxillofacial Dentistry Department, High Oxygen Pressure Treatment Area, Infectious Diseases Department, Health Insurance Examination Department, Non-Health Insurance Examination Department, Telemedicine Examination Area; and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine; The surgical and intensive care system… The delegation also worked and exchanged experiences in the fields of cardiovascular surgery, information technology, nursing, and international medical examination.

Both sides discussed the potential for collaboration in specialized areas, human resource training, and technology transfer between the two hospitals in fields such as diagnostic imaging, cardiology, surgery, oncology, traumatology, Neurosurgery – Spinal Surgery, nursing, information technology, and systemetic hospital quality management.

The   trip was highly successful, laying the foundation for establishing and developing a collaborative relationship between the two  sides. It has opened numerous opportunities for exchange and learning for healthcare professionals of Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital, contributing to the improvement of healthcare service quality at the hospital.
